Abigail "Abby" Delaney Burnett, age 14, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, gained her heavenly wings on Monday, February 15, 2021.

She was our earthly angel and a child of God. Abby loved life and with the help of family and close friends lived it to the fullest. She loved praying, especially after you named everyone she knew and said Amen. She loved to do anything her family did. She loved traveling every year with the Abby’s Angels bowling team to the Women’s Tennessee State USBC Tournaments. She loved gardening, growing flowers and growing tomatoes. Watching Disney movies was her favorite but she always loved musicals the best, especially Burlesque and Pitch Perfect, and there wasn’t a hospital visit or road trip that these movies weren’t with her. You could always find her wrapped in one of her special quilts her precious Mamaw made especially for her. Getting mail was the highlight of her day, and she got mail from all over the world. She loved family trips to Florida, being with her brothers and cousins. Her best friend Deanna, her cousin, was her sidekick and brought a lot of smiles and giggles. Her brothers were her highlight of any day. No matter if it was her brother Jase reading to her or Axel watching movies with her, she just loved them being with her. Another activity she loved was watching her pets Copper, Rebel, Dixie and fat cat Baby play. She loved the river, putting her feet in the cold water and feeling the wind blow her hair. Dancing around with her crazy Grammy kept her with a big smile. She loved Alabama football and would give you the evil look if you talked bad about them. She loved going to the zoo and Dollywood. Summertime swim days at Uncle Troy and Aunt Chrissy's were always fun for her, she loved the water. She loved holidays, especially Christmas and Easter, and she would stay awake all night before waiting and hoping to catch Santa or Easter bunny in action.

She is preceded in death by her Papaw Johnny B Leamon Jr. and PePe Bobby Lowe; great-grandfather, Raymond Poole Jr.; great-grandfather, Wallace Long; great-grandfather, Johnny B Leamon Sr. and great-grandmother, Marie Young Leamon; aunt, Denise Poole; cousin, Michel Poole; and her fur sister, Sadie.
