Harold Calloway

Harold Edward Calloway, Sr. was a long-time faithful servant of Jehovah.

He was a resident of Chattanooga, and died on January 21, 2021 at the age of 74.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Bell Calloway, and his wife of 54 years, Claudia Mae Calloway. They had three children, Tawanna Bumpus, Tracy Calloway and Harold E. Calloway, Jr.; one grandson, Drake Bumpus. Harold has two surviving brothers, William (Margaret) Calloway and Tyrone (Chris) Calloway. He was loved by a host of nieces and nephews from around the world.

Harold was born in Chattanooga, on Nov. 11, 1945. Harold worked at Tennessee American Water Company until he retired. On Dec. 17, 1966 he married his high school sweetheart. His love for Jehovah moved him to dedicate his life to Jehovah in February of 1974.  He faithfully served Jehovah till the end as a full time Regular Pioneer.  Everyone who our father met, found a friend in him, he never, I repeat he never met a stranger. He was kind and loving to all. He would daily talk to people about the promises of Gods Kingdom.

Arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home of Chattanooga, Inc.
