The 50th annual Speedweeks portion for the Dirt Car/World of Outlaw Late Model series got underway Monday night as 51 Super Late Model teams entered the Volusia Speedway Park event outside Daytona.

Tim McCreadie (#39) of Watertown, N.Y. completely dominated the night's 30 lapper, pocketing the $7,000 prize for his Paylor Motorsports/Longhorn chassis team.

Mark Whitener of Middlesburg, Fl., fresh off his dominant weekend at Tampa's East Bay Raceway Park, finished second, just ahead of Ohio's Devin Moran, Kyle Bronson of Brandon, Fl. and Illinois' Bobby Pierce.

Defending WoOLM champion Brandon Shepard of Illinois was 6th, just ahead of Georgian Brandon Overton. Jimmy Owens of Newport, Tn, continues to struggle finishing 16th overall. Chickamauga's Dale McDowell finished last of the 24 starters, while Tennessean Scott Bloomquist failed to make the race.

Tuesday's races get underway at 7 p.m. and can be watched live on DirtVision.com for subscribers.

Closer to home, Moulton (AL) Speedway raced Sunday 602/Sportsman and 604/Crate Late Models. Blue Ridge racer Seth Wimpey (#24) won the $1,500 Sportsman race while Georgian Jordy Nipper won the $3,000 Crate race.
