Bertha Corinne Rushing, 81, passed away June 15, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that truly showed her love to her children and grandchildren. She had a servant’s heart, serving the Lord and those people around her that were in need. Corinne attended Kelly Ferry Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lemuel Bogle; parents, Pauline and James A. Taylor; son, Phillip Rushing; two sisters and two brothers.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 61 years, Joe F. Rushing; daughters, Connie (Stefon) Davis and Tammy (Don) Morgan; sons, Tommy Rushing and Jackie (Debbie) Rushing; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters; five brothers; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, June 18 in the Trenton Chapel, with Pastor Randy Taylor and Pastor Mike Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Whitt Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 3-8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m.-noon.
