Marsha Blackburn’s COVID Hysteria - And Response

  • Friday, July 30, 2021

In view of Marsha Blackburn’s furtherance of the big lie, and alternative facts regarding COVID vaccination; sadly, she resides in an altered state of consciousness.

She is employed, paid a salary and works for, us, the citizens of Tennessee – we need to be a better boss.

Mr Jones there were 2,289 cases of COVID-19 reported last week in this state according to the Tennessee Department of Health website. There are 95 counties in Tennessee and five of them account for more than half of the new cases.

I realize cases are rising again.

I also know progressives are making rumblings about imposing some of the Draconian measures we saw last year. That’s what Senator Blackburn was addressing.

When tossing around restrictions, national officials are not actually focusing on the segments of the population experiencing the most new cases-large urban areas and the unvaccinated. There was a statement made on the national news (not FOX, I don’t watch it) that of all new hospitalizations and deaths, all were unvaccinated people.

Before we slip into a maelstrom of emotions and go off closing churches, schools and businesses again or strapping masks on vaccinated people and two-year-olds, consider this a spike due to the unvaccinated spreading a more contagious variation of the virus, particularly in large urban areas.

What should frighten us as much as a recurrence is having to pay people or give them lottery tickets or beer to get vaccinated. That is another example of the sad legacy of the Great Society undermining this nation from within.
