Thomas William Johnson, 66, of Ooltewah, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.

Mr. Johnson was born and raised in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He moved to the Chattanooga area in the 70’s and attended UTC. He married in 1982 and settled down in Ooltewah. A devout Catholic, he attended St. Stephen Catholic Church. Tom was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was passionate ­about family and UT Vols Football.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Collings Johnson and his father, Carl William Johnson.

Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Lynn Johnson, son, James (Felicia) Johnson, grandchildren, Charlotte, Samuel and Lenora Johnson of Ooltewah and sister, Gretchen Wolkiewicz of Nolansville, TN.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Chattanooga Funeral Home - Valley View Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 7111 Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN  37421, with Father Manuel Perez officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
