Partnership Announces New Board President

Partnership for Families, Children and Adults announces Tyler Forrest has been elected as new board president.

Mr. Forrest was elected to the board in 2014 and has served on the Executive, Investment/Finance and Facilities Ad Hoc Committees, and chaired the Investment Committee. He succeeds Andrew McGill, who served as board president since 2019. 

Mr. Forrest received his bachelor’s degree in finance, MBA and doctorate of philosophy in learning and leadership from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. His entire professional career has been spent in higher education, holding several administrative positions at varying levels of responsibility over the past 11 years.

He holds the position of vice chancellor for Finance and Administration and chief business officer at UTC. In this role, he is responsible for leading the financial, operational and administrative enterprises of the institution, including the Budget and Finance, Business Services, Human Resources, Facilities Planning and Management and Emergency Services units.

As a native and resident of Athens, he resides with his wife. Emily, and children, Caroline and 
Benjamin.
