Michell Hodge, 47, passed away at Tennova Hospital January 13, 2022. She graduated from Murray County High School in the class of 1992. She enjoyed hiking and camping with her children, and had a passion for art. She created an art exhibition for the Cleveland Public Library.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Hodge; her son, Michael Hodge; her two daughters, Kimberly Hodge and Hannah Abgail Hodge; her mother, Virginia Pierce; her father, George Piercel her half-sisters, Sherrian Finneran, Helen Costner, Sandy Costner and Kathy Pierce; and her girlfriend, Andi Townsend.
The family will receive friends at the Companion Funeral Home at 2414 Georgetown Road in Cleveland on Thursday, Jan. 20 from 4-8 p.m. A service celebrating her life is planned for the following day, Friday, Jan. 21 at 11 a.m. at the Tennga Baptist Church, 257 Tennga Gregory Road, Tennga, Ga. 30751, with the Reverend Ben Busie officiating. Burial will be held at the Tennga Baptist Church Cemetery.
