The Chattanooga women’s basketball team will look to keep the excitement going Saturday afternoon against UNC Greensboro at The McKenzie Arena.
Chattanooga is riding a three-game win streak and sitting third in the Southern Conference standings after claiming its 900th program win against Western Carolina on Thursday. The Mocs are 5-14 overall and 3-1 in league play. UNCG is 5-11 on the year and 1-2 against the league. The Spartans had to postpone its opening weekend of SoCon play due to COVID-19 protocols within the program.

This will be the 59th meeting between the Mocs and Spartans. UTC leads the series 47-11 and are 39-7 against the Spartans in the SoCon regular season. The Mocs lead UNCG 21-4 at home and have split the last eight games 4-4. The two teams split the series last season played at the Roundhouse due to COVID-19 rescheduling.
