Tobin "Toby" Hunt Durham, 47, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on October 22, 2022.

He was born on April 21, 1975, in Jackson, Tennessee to Lea Stuart. Tobin had been a resident of the Cleveland, Tennessee area for 43 years after moving here from Jackson, Tn. He was an honor student and a recipient of Duke University’s Talent Identification Program (TIP) award for mathematics. He loved music, and loved to sing, play guitar, keyboard, and drums. He also loved music recording and song writing. He will be sorely missed for his gentle disposition, big heart, and his terrific sense of humor.

Tobin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Josephine Stuart and his maternal grandparents, Dr. David and Eva Hawkins.

Left behind to cherish in Tobin's memory are his parents, Buster and Lea Stuart of Cleveland, Tennessee, his brother Tyler Durham of Smyrna, Tn., and his sister, Lindy Stuart Smith of Cleveland, Tn. He also leaves behind three nieces.

The family will say their goodbyes in a private ceremony at Companion Funeral Home in Cleveland, Tn. on Wednesday, Oct. 26. Pastoral care is being provided by Micah Nicolaus and Betsy Denton of Broad Street United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the music program at Broad St. United Methodist Church of Cleveland.
