Jeanette “Jan” Fussell
Jeanette “Jan” Fussell, 76, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, December 2, 2022.
She was born March 14, 1946 in Chattanooga to the late Palmer and Louise Grayson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace “Tobe” Fussell. She was the owner of TJ Trucking for 35 years.
She was passionate about her family and her company. She loved spending time with her family. She was a giving soul and she loved giving and helping others. She would often see a need and work to see it met. She was a strong independent woman, who was well respected by her peers and community.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy (David) Gray, stepdaughter, Carol Stupin, grandchildren, Derrick (Kasey) Cox and Jennifer (Jake) Dillon, great granddaughter, Ashlynn Dillon, step-granddaughter, Ashely (Lionel) Green, sister, Lillie Hartman, special friend, Vernon Landreth.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Kenneth Whitmire officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
