Gregg Cooper
Gregg Cooper, age 49, of Cohutta, Georgia, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022 at his home.
Gregg, a spectacular husband and father, said “peace out” to this world, after a short, but brazen battle with cancer. Gregg was born on Nov. 3, 1973 and grew up in the big city of Cohutta, Ga. He had numerous passions including music, spending time with his friends and family, and helping others. Gregg, a second-degree black belt, was a coach at G1 Martial Arts where he shared his passion of Taekwondo with both adults and children. For 25 years, he worked at Bearden Industrial Supply, where he made some exceptional, lifelong friendships. In 1998, he was granted his most favorite and prestigious title…he became a Daddy for the first time. In 2010, surrounded by his family and closest friends, he married his favorite ginger on a hot, April day. In 2013 and 2015, he proudly welcomed two more sons to complete his family. Gregg was a giver and always took time to be kind to everyone he encountered.
Gregg is survived by his wife and soul mate, Tiffani; loving sons, Korban, Ryker, and Silas; parents, MB and Polly; brothers, David and Shane; former wife and longtime friend, Mandy O’Brien; brother-from-another-mother, Lee Ewton, and sister-from-another-mister Anne Ewton.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, Dec. 8, at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples funeral home from 5-8 p.m.
The memorial service will be Friday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Kilgore officiating, and friends and family giving an eulogy.
