Tracy Ferguson
Tracy Leon Ferguson, 56, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, in a local hospital.
Tracy was born in Danville, Va. He moved to the Chattanooga area to work as a carpenter, which became his life’s work. In his free time, Tracy enjoyed shooting pool, spending time with his friends, and was a talented cook. He never met a stranger and had a big heart. Tracy will be most remembered for his sense of humor and his deep love for his family. He was “one of a kind.”
Tracy was preceded in death by his father, Stylus N. Ferguson and sister, Pam Bailey; and Wade “Slick” Allison.
Survivors include his wife, Denise Ferguson; children, Rob (Anna) Ferguson and Matthew (Nikita) Allison; sister-in-law, Chelle Allison; brother-in-law, Ronnie (Donna) Allison; grandchildren: Gracie, Gabby, Alena, and Walker; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, “Yank.”
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, Feb. 6, from 2-4 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held immediately following at Rumors from 5-7 p.m. at 3884 Hixson Pike, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415.

There will also be a benefit auction in honor of Tracy Ferguson to assist with his hospital expenses at Rumors on Saturday, Feb. 26, from 2-6 p.m.
