GFWC Valamont Woman’s Club Donates Dr. Seuss Chair To North Elementary School

On Tuesday GFWC Valamont Woman’s Club donated a Dr. Seuss chair to North Elementary School in Altamont, Tn. just in time for Read Across America. The club designed and painted a donated chair.  They also delivered books and school supplies. 

The GFWC Valamont Woman’s Club is affiliated with the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, the oldest civic women’s organization in the United States. Their mission is to improve their community by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
