Mark Ridley
Mark Thomas Ridley, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on his 53rd birthday, April 20, 2022.
Mark was born on April 20, 1969, to his parents, Tommy and Patricia Ridley, also of Dalton, Georgia. Mark’s greatest joy was his family. He was married for 27 years to the love of his life, Holly Pruitt Ridley. During those 27 years, they enjoyed nothing more than spending time with each other and their sweet family. Theirs was a life of love and adventure. Together, Mark and Holly had four beautiful children, Tommy, Jack, John, and Grace. Mark will be fondly remembered by his family as a loving Christian, husband, and father.
With his wife Holly, Mark owned and operated Precious Possessions Preschool and Daycare. He was also a member of and Sunday School teacher at Salem Baptist Church in Dalton, Georgia. Mark leaves behind many wonderful friends and lasting relationships.
Mark is survived by his wife, Holly Pruitt Ridley; his children, Tommy, Jack, John, and Grace; his parents, Tommy and Patricia Ridley; and his sisters and brothers-in-law, Renee and Jeff Rector and Gena and Greg Welsh. Mark is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews: Luke, Jacob, Amanda, Dawson, and Kaysen.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 23, at 3 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Darey Kittle officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday from 12-3 p.m.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Greg Bates, Jeff Goodwin, Sandy Hankins, Billy Hughey, Jeremy Kittle, Eric Kyer, Jason Lowe, Will Mann, Scott McAllister, Mike Turner, Mark Richardson, and Mike Witherow.
