Nicholas Peavy
Nicholas Cedrick Peavy, 37, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022, in Chattanooga.
He was born June 23, 1984, in Harrison, Tn., to Myra Rivers and Steven Walker. He was a 2002 graduate of Chattanooga Central High School where he played on the football team. He attended Chattanooga State Community College pursuing a degree in physical therapy.
Nicholas gave his life to the Lord as a teen and became a member of New Covenant Fellowship Church. He also attended The United House of Prayer when he was able. Nicholas briefly worked for FedEx until his health no longer allowed him to.
He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Walker, and his brother, Steve Walker.
Nicholas leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Myra Rivers; step-father, John Rivers; daughter, Kaiden Peavy; sisters, Brittany (Larry) Maddox, and Nashia Walker McCalister, all of Chattanooga; grandparents, JoAnn and James Harris, of Rossville, GA.; aunts, Carla (Trory) Finley, of Lake Spivey, Ga.; Stacey Peavy, Kasey Peavy, Vanessa Harris, and Tandra (Corey) Garrett, all of Chattanooga; uncle, Richard (Stephanie) Harris of Dallas, GA.; a host of other aunts; uncles; nephews; nieces; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, followed immediately by a funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home.
Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
