Explore The Gorge Starting April 29 With River Gorge Excursions

  • Wednesday, April 6, 2022

River Gorge Excursions, a pontoon boat tour and rental company, is opening on April 29, for its 2022 season. The company has expanded its operations over the past two years to two locations and three boats in response to its increasing demand.

River Gorge Excursions provides an eye-opening experience along the scenic Tennessee River Gorge, just 15 minutes away from Downtown Chattanooga. A boat tour or rental is a great way to enjoy the Tennessee River Gorge.

Pontoon boat tours are guided by the company’s own licensed captain with a wealth of knowledge on the river and the surrounding areas. Tours are family-friendly where you can experience breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, learn about the Tennessee River and its history, watch ospreys and bald eagles dive for fish, maybe see a whitetail deer jump to the river for a drink, or even catch sight of a rainbow over the Gorge.

Additionally, River Gorge Excursions offers three pontoon boats that can be rented for up to 4 or 8 hours by individuals or families. Boat rentals are a great way to explore the region, fish, cruise on the river, or simply relax in the sun. The experienced crew will make sure customers have everything necessary for a safe and unforgettable trip.

“The Tennessee River Gorge is one of Chattanooga's best-kept secrets, and River Gorge Excursions offers individuals and families the chance to experience its history and nature on the water,” said Jesse Gaylor, owner of River Gorge Excursions.

River Gorge Excursions also offers competitive daily deals and group rates for up to six individuals. Call 423 987-1711 for more information.
