Mereda Faye Myers, 70, of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022. Mereda was born on Feb. 26, 1952 in Artie, WV to the late Gentry and Emily Williams. She enjoyed attending church, as well as spending time with her family and friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gentry Randy Williams; and her sister, Evelena Polries.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Jason Myers and Justin Myers; grandchildren, Daniel Myers – Murphy, Emerald Curry Myers, Elijah Myers, Joseph Myers and Samuel Myers; her brother, Ricky Williams; her sister, Connie Smith; along with a host of extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, June 29 at 7 p.m. at River Worship Center in Delano, with pastor Patrick McCulley and Pastor Justin Myers officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 6-7 p.m., prior to the service.
A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 30 at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Decatur at 5 p.m.
