Instruction for the Construction Career Center will be led through the Tennessee College of Applied Technology at Chattanooga and offers students 1,300 hours of accredited classroom and hands-on training, OSHA 10, work-based learning opportunities and connectivity with regional construction employers through the Associated General Contractors of East Tennessee.
The curriculum, Building Construction Technology, will provide students with the fundamentals of carpentry, electrical wiring, plumbing and block and brick laying.
