Patricia Wolfe
Patricia Anne "Patsy" Beene Wolfe, 90, passed away on June 30, 2022.
She was a lifelong resident of Hixson, the daughter of William Hamilton Beene and Anne Hixson Beene. Mrs. Wolfe was a graduate of Hixson High School. After graduation, she went to work for American National Bank and later in her career moved to First Federal Savings and Loan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Mary E. (Bettye) Jones, Shirley Moore, and Norma Trotter; and her brother, William H. Beene, Jr.
Mrs. Wolfe is survived by her husband of 68 years, Thomas Wolfe of Hixson; her daughter, Debra Anne (David) Shumaker of Bristol, Tn.; grandson, Joshua (Emily) Shumaker of Alexandria, Va.; great-grandson, Theodore Shumaker; one brother, John Beene of Hixson; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Wolfe will be held on Tuesday, July 5, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel. The funeral service will be held in the chapel immediately following visitation. Interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hixson United Methodist Church or to the Community Kitchen of Chattanooga.
