Cleveland State Volleyball Loses To Roane State In Four

In what was a hard fought four-set match loss the Cleveland State Cougars started with a 25-23 road set win vs Roane State on Tuesday September 27 and then lost 25-19, 25-20 and 25-19 putting their overall season record at 6-6 with a conference mark of 0-5.

Madison Husted had 22 Digs followed by Kathryn Kibler and Taylor Hancock with 17 and 16.

Cleveland State’s offensive attack was started with 16 Assists by Hancock and nine by Ella Johnson
leading to 11 Kills by Brianna Parks and six each from Johnson and Jazlyn Butler.

The next scheduled match for the Cougars is a road contest vs Treveccaa Nazarene University on
Friday September 30 with a slated start time of 3 p.m. Cleveland State is back at home playing in
the L. Quentin Lane Gymnasium on Wednesday October 5 at 6:30 p.m. for a conference match up vs
Walters State.

Admission for home attendance is $8 per person. There is no charge for Cleveland State students.
