Stephen Mark Reckard, 64, of Chattanooga passed away peacefully on January 22, 2023, surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Mark was born on June 19, 1958, in Chattanooga, Tn., and grew up there, but also spent many years in Tampa, Fl. He loved life, family, friends, music, and working with his hands. He was involved with his church and had an infectious smile that could make anyone around him laugh. Throughout his life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Mark is survived by his wife, Debbie, his sisters, Jean (Mark) Davis, Lyndie (Braxton) Cotton, his daughter, Heather (Jesse) Linville, and his grandkids, Landon, Styler, Archer, Ivy. He loved Jesus and will be joyously reunited with those who have gone before him; among whom are his father, Charles Reckard, his mother, Dorothy Jones Reckard, and his step sons, Lance and Matthew Edwards.

A memorial service will be held at East Ridge United Methodist Church on Saturday, Jan. 28, at 1601 Prater Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37412. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m., followed by a service at 4 p.m.
