Karen “Kay” Sullivan Schonschack, 70, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

She was born in Dayton, Tn., on March 27, 1953. Kay was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Cowboy Church in LaFayette, the owner/operator of Allison Transport for 25 years which is still operating today under the leadership of her granddaughter. She retired from State Farm Insurance, loved flowers/gardening, riding Harley’s, doing crafts, and was an excellent cook. However, her greatest passion was her family especially her Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Wilma Sullivan; siblings, Joan Sullivan, David Davenport, Perry Sullivan, and special nephew, Christopher Sullivan.

Survivors include her husband, Gordy Schonschack, daughter, Regina Leigh (Donnie) Owens, son, Adam (Amy) Everett, sister, Toni P. Allison, brother, Gary (Judy) Davis and David Clark, four grandchildren, Lacy (Koty) Vann, Chad Everett, Logan (Kaylan) Hill, Baily (Sam) Fletcher, two great-grandchildren, Riley and Rhett Vann, several special nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, at the Cowboy Church at 196 County Line Road, Rock Spring, Ga. 30739.
