Karley and Grant Bias
Grant Bias, a contestant on the hit show “The Voice,” shared his singing and guitar-playing talent Thursday evening at Morning Pointe of East Hamilton’s family trunk-or-treat.
Residents and associates at the assisted living and memory care community gathered outside to listen to Mr. Bias perform, and guests stopped by a variety of themed cars for Halloween treats.
Mr. Bias’ wife, Karley Bias, is the community relations director at Morning Pointe of East Hamilton and thought the residents would enjoy hearing him sing. Mr. Bias just won his battle round with his coach, Gwen Stefani. He will be moving on to the next round of Knockouts.
“It was a full-circle moment,” said Ms. Bias. “Morning Pointe holds a special place in my heart, and of course, my husband does too, so to see my two worlds collide was something I'll never forget. I'm beyond proud of both.”
“The Voice” airs on NBC on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m.
Morning Pointe of East Hamilton is at 1776 Generations Way just off of East Brainerd Road. One of the highlights of Morning Pointe Senior Living’s life enrichment programs are intergenerational activities, as well as connecting with the local community, keeping residents involved and active members of society. Events like the trunk-or-treat help connect generations.
