Chad Anderson
Chad Anderson, 47, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at his home after a long battle with cancer.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Dixie and Carl Gaddis; and grandparents, Catherine and Frank Edwards and Mary and James Anderson.
Chad worked at UPS for 25 years, was a big Georgia Bulldogs fan, and loved racing dirt bikes and competing in races.
He is survived by his loving wife, Christina Anderson; son, Owen Bean of Cleveland, TN; daughters, Cortlend Padgett of Dalton and Taylor Bean of Dalton; Father, Paul Anderson of California; mother and step-father, Cheryl and Ronnie Beene of Chatsworth; sisters and brother-in-law, Abigail Beene of Dalton, Sharon Anderson of California, Susan and Scott Patterson of California; grandchildren, Jaxon, Colson and Torryn; also survived by many friends and co-workers.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 1 p.m. at Lifegate Church (2744 Cleveland Hwy, Dalton, GA) with Rev. Ronald McKinney officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 6, from 5-8:30 p.m.
The burial will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital.
