Daniel Gordon Earl
Daniel Gordon Earl, 74, was born on March 12, 1949, and went to heaven on November 26, 2023, after battling pancreatic cancer.
He was born in Rochester, NY to Paul and Alene (Ward) Earl. After graduating from Greece Arcadia High School, he went on to study physical therapy at the State University of New York at Buffalo and did his graduate clinical doctorate at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
His family dearly loved him for his warm sense of humor and commitment to the Lord and his family.
Dan, being a physical therapist and disability expert, traveled the world serving the Lord through Joni and Friends, Wheels for the World, taking wheelchairs and the gospel to third world countries to those in need.
He founded Christian Physical Therapists International providing support, encouragement in faith, education and ministry opportunities to its many members. This organization continues to this day as part of the Christian Medical and Dental Society.
Dan was involved in his church, North Shore Fellowship for many years as an elder and deacon. He loved connecting with people, making life better for those around him and serving especially the disabled.
He was predeceased by both his parents and dear family in Illinois and Rochester, NY.
He is survived by his wife Jennifer Lyn, his deeply loved children Matthew Earl (Elizabeth Gray), Noelle Earl and Noah Earl; and his five grandchildren, Eli, Ezra, Daniel, Tobias and Nicolette.
A memorial service will be held at North Shore Fellowship, 118 Woodland Ave., Chattanooga, Tn. 37405 on Dec. 2, at 10 a.m.
