Garry Moore
Garry David Moore, 72, of Cleveland, TN passed away on November 27, 2023.
He was born on August 22, 1951 to the late James and Mamie Moore.
Garry was a lifelong resident of this area and owner of Moore's Bestway Travel. Garry was also the Constable, serving the 1st district for 10 years. He was a Mason, member of the Shriners, and a Little League Baseball Coach for many years. He was also a member of Mt. Olive Ministries.
In addition to his mother and father he is preceded in death by his siblings: Freddie Moore, Wanda McClure, Shirley Brewer, Wayne Moore and brother-in-laws DD Baugh and Dwight Hughes.
Garry is survived by his loving wife, Geneva Ann Moore; children: David and Shonna Moore and Jan and Jeff Hall; grandchildren: Kasey Chase Lawson, Caden Moore, Tyler Moore, Brandon Hall, and Kayleigh Hall. sisters Darlene Baugh, Gwenith Lyles, Judy Moore, Janet Keys; sister in law: Becky Moore; brothers and sisters in law: Tim and Jeannie Hughes, Gary and Mitzi Hughes, Debbie Hughes, Glenda and Jr. Wheeler, and Tom Brewer. In addition to these, Garry leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
His family will receive friends from 4 to 7 pm. on Thurday Nov. 30th at Mt. Olive Ministries with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7 p.m. He will be laid to rest at 11 a.m. on Friday December 1st at Earl's Cemetery.
