Inez Keys Bruce
Inez Keys Bruce, 93, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023.
Inez was born in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee and educated in the Hamilton County Public School System. She obtained her associate's degree. Inez later became a teacher at the Cedar Hill Child Development Center. She was a member of the St. Elmo Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Aaron Charles “Ding” Bruce, David J. Bruce, and Harry Bruce; husband of 63 years, Aaron “Bill” Bruce; and daughter, Janice Renee Bruce.
Survivors include her son, Robert K. Bruce; daughter, Linda D. Bruce; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Inez will lie in state on Saturday, Dec. 16, from 1-5 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. at St. Elmo Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Billy Church as the eulogist.
Burial will be on Monday, Dec. 18, at noon in Forest Hills Cemetery.
