Tennessee Crossroads To Feature Signal Centers’ Hart Gallery

  • Friday, March 17, 2023

In the episode set to air on Saturday at 4:30 pm, Tennessee Crossroads, a Nashville public television production, will highlight the unique Hart Gallery in downtown Chattanooga. The Tennessee Crossroads series is a weekly televised look at the active, vibrant, and changing face of Tennessee.

Since 2010, The Hart Gallery has been working in the heart of Main Street in Chattanooga, offering veterans and artists experiencing homelessness and disabilities an opportunity to create and sell their artwork. The resources and support provided encourage a life of stability and self-worth through artistic expression.

For many who need healing, hope, and family, the gallery is a creative home. Vicky Henson, a member of the gallery’s low-vision class, said, “This is the highlight of my week. Every week I do other things, but this is the highlight. This is where my heart comes back to. And this is my family.”
