CWGA Kicks Of 2023 Golf Season

  • Friday, March 31, 2023
The 2023 CWGA season teed up play on Tuesday.

Six ladies (all from Council Fire) played Tuesday morning at Bear Trace with Lisa Lowery-Smith, Phyllis Loftsgard, and Lynn McGee winning by one stroke.

The CWGA has adopted the local rule for out of bounds (OB) balls.  Golfers can always play (under 1 stroke penalty) from the original spot of play; or if they know their ball is OB, they may bring their ball out to the fairway directly across from the spot where their ball went OB for a 2 stroke penalty.
