Notre Dame High School (Chattanooga) will be hosting the Tennessee vs Georgia High School All-Star Basketball Game Thursday April 20th. The event brings together a talented group of student-athletes from around the region. Top senior players from Northwest, GA and Southeast, TN will matchup in what is sure to be a fun, but competitive game.
Schools from across the greater Chattanooga area are given the chance to nominate their players who they feel would qualify to represent their state. All-Star coaches then select the top 10 for each team, and send out invitations.
Over 30 players representing 25 schools spanning from Calhoun, GA to Copper Basin, TN will be a part of the All-Star athletic event.
“Notre Dame has been hosting the game for years,” said Notre Dame Head Girls Basketball Coach, Jason Hill. “It’s a great opportunity to bring together talented players that normally would not have the chance to play with and compete against each other.”
The game will showcase highly skilled players, and will also feature 3-point shooting and dunk
contests.
Both games will take place in Phiefer Gymnasium. Girls’ will begin at 6:00 PM with Boys’ tipping
