Connie Ann Price Robinson, 90, of Acworth, Georgia, formerly of Ooltewah, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

Born on Feb. 6, 1933, in Washington, DC to the late Esters Henry Price and Bernice Irene Garrison, Connie was a 1952 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, attended Bob Jones University and graduated from Erskine College in 1955.

While attending Erskine College, she met and married Herbert Julian Robinson on Aug. 2, 1956, and shared an amazing and beautiful love for one another.

Connie was a 2nd grade teacher in Bisbee, Az., while her husband Herb was serving in the U.S. Army.

Connie was in involved in church her entire life and was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga, which became her second family. She enjoyed music - from singing, playing the piano, to being a hand bell soloist.

She had a love for all animals; raising horses on their family farm in Ooltewah.

Later in life she was a self-taught watercolor artist, creating hundreds of works of art.

Connie was preceded in death on May 7, 2023, by her husband of 67 years, Dr. Herbert Julian Robinson. They exemplified a remarkable love and devotion for each other. In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her sister, Esteen Bernice Price.

She will be remembered as a wonderful wife and mom who brought joy to everyone throughout her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Terry (Brad) Matthaidess; son, Gary L. (Claudia) Robinson; grandson, Cole Matthaidess; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 26, at 12:45 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Art Jones officiating. Burial will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
