The Don Eaves Heritage House announces "Christmas in July" events - "celebrations we love with a summertime flavor."
A potluck community dinner will be held on Thursday, July 6, followed by the holiday special presentation you might not have seen (especially if you didn’t happen to have Disney+ last year.)
"Due to licensing, we can’t publicize the exact title, but we can say the stars of the film are bigger than “The Protectors of the Solar System.”
Doors open at 6 p.m.; potluck dinner at 6:30 p.m.; holiday special presentation from 8-9 p.m.
Join with the whole family for decorating Wilton Gingerbread Houses and cookies, drinking cocoa & iced cider and creating holiday mandalas on Tuesday, July 18.
The gingerbread houses will be given away as door prizes at the end of the evening.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; gingerbread house door prize drawing begins at 8:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, July 25, get crafty with ornaments, shadow boxes, suncatchers and acorn elves. Everyone loves holiday crafts and all of these have a touch of summer fun for both kids and adults.
Doors open from 6:30--9 p.m.
So there will be enough supplies for everyone, RSVP with the date(s) of the events you plan to attend and the number in your party to HeritageHouse@chattanooga.gov, or call the office voicemail at 423-855-9474.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (over 21) at all times.
All events are free.
