Chattanooga men's basketball big man alum Jake Stephens
has earned himself an NBA roster spot with the Sacramento Kings ahead of the upcoming 2023 California Classic NBA Summer League event after signing an undrafted Exhibit 10 deal last week, as the team announced its official roster on Thursday.
What exactly is an Exhibit 10 deal in the NBA? An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year, minimum-salary NBA deal that allows the franchise to convert the contract to a two-way contract if that change is made before the start of the regular season.
Ironically, Stephens will be joining former Southern Conference-foe Jalen Slawson from Furman on the Kings summer roster after Slawson was selected by the team with the 54
th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft last week.

Summer league action for the Kings kicks off with the 2023 California Classic on Monday, July 3 and Wednesday, July 5 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento and will be nationally televised on ESPN. The schedule for the summer including start times and TV networks can be found below.
