Mary Fuller Goodner, 67, of Ringgold, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, in a local hospital.

Born in Athens, Tn., Mrs. Goodner was a longtime resident of Hamilton County and most recently Catoosa County and was a proud alumni of UTK.

She was a registered nurse at Erlanger Medical Center for almost 40 years working most of that time in the oncology department caring for those who were facing a difficult time in their lives.

Mrs. Goodner loved time with her dear friends in the Peri Group for over 30 years.

She was a member of Ringgold United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Fuller; mother, Ruby Fuller; and son, Jeffery Knox.

Survivors are her husband, Steven C. Goodner; daughters, Christine (Daniel) Cates, Ringgold, and Jennifer Goodner, Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.; son, Billy Knox, Chattanooga; sisters, Nancy (Bill) Landreth, Ooltewah, and Annette (Mike) Roach, Lake Charles, La.; brother, Max (Janice) Fuller, Ooltewah; four grandchildren, Lane Cates, Taylor Pease, Gennaveve Pease, and Liam Cates; two great-grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 10, at 5 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Chris Bryant, Pastor Sally Ensley, and Pastor Marty McGee officiating.
