Crossville Speedway Changes UCRA Date Due To Inclement Weather

The Crossville Speedway on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee is having to reschedule its United Championship Racing Alliance event, slated for Saturday night.

The track has been recently inundated with heavy rains almost daily for the past month. Owner Lewis Jackson and UCRA officials agree that the best scenario is to try again in late August. Hopefully weather patterns will change from the thunderstorms scene in July to where the track can host more weekly events.

If the new date for the Crossville Speedway/UCRA event will be Saturday, Aug. 26. The track is planning on racing this Saturday a full regular show for all their local divisions. Thus, the next UCRA event will be Saturday, Aug. 12, at Fort Payne Motor Speedway in northeast Alabama.
