George W. Hartman
George W. Hartman went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at the young age of 59 after a short, courageous battle with cancer.
George was a faithful member of the Bible Baptist Church in Rossville, Ga.
He is proceeded in death by his father and mother, William (Bill) and Georgia Hartman.
He is deeply mourned by his loving wife of 39 years, Tammy; children, Brandon (Kara Lowe) Hartman, Kristen (Derek) Stone, and Brett (Naomi) Hartman. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren whom he adored and thought the world of Caden, Easton, Levi, Noah, Luke, Amos, Nahum, and Jesse; as well as sisters, Sue Bradford, Beth (Eric) Beaird), and Diane (Bob) Hicks, Aunt, Vanetta Perry, and several nieces and nephews.
He was the previous owner of Choo Choo BBQ on Old Mill Rd, Ringgold and Geo's BBQ, Lafayette. He loved to cook, to fish, and loved the outdoors.
Visitation will be begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at the Bible Baptist Church, 110 Talley Avenue, Rossville, Georgia. The service will follow at 2 p.m. with Dr. Ricky Gravley officiating.
There will be a private graveside service at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Beagles, Jeff Beagles, Eric Beaird, Robbie Dawson, Derek Stone, and Robbie Wilson.
