John Lee Flynn, 75, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Flynn was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga where he worked as a roofer for over 30 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #91, he enjoyed playing golf, was a poker champion, and he was a TN Vol fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Frazier Flynn and Nola Mae Flynn.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Pamela “Pam” Flynn of Chattanooga; daughters, Gail (Scott) Floyd of Ringgold, and Carolyn LeVan of Ooltewah; brothers, James (Pam) Flynn of Chattanooga, and Richard (Annie) Flynn of Ooltewah; five grandsons, Michael, Austin, Joshua, Brayton, and Brent; four great-granddaughters, Mackenzie, Bella, Addie, and Ava May; and several nieces and nephews.

Condolences may be shared with the family and live webcasting of the funeral service will be available at www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Hutto officiating.

Interment will follow in the Lakewood South Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8p.m. and Wednesday from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
