McNeil "Mac" Jenkins, Jr., 71, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, was called home and gained his heavenly wings in the early morning hours on Monday, September 18, 2023.

He was the son of the late McNeil Jenkins Sr. and Bonnie Wilson Jenkins. He was retired from Olin Chemical after 45 years of employment. Since retiring he has enjoyed playing golf and traveling. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Mac is survived by: his loving wife of 49 years, Diane Jenkins; he was a devoted father to: his daughter, Brandi Scott (John) and his son, Brent Jenkins (Caley) all of Cleveland; he was Papaw to his grandsons, Devin Jenkins (Abbi), Caydon Jenkins, Connor Jenkins, Koleton Fondren, Cannon Jenkins and his great-grandson, Weston Jenkins. He is also survived by two brothers, Kenny Jenkins (Teresa) of Butler, Indiana and Don Jenkins (Cheri) of Soddy Daisy, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, North Ocoee Street Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Ray Bookout, Michael Wilson, Caydon Jenkins, Kenneth "Little Mac" Jenkins, Braden Jenkins and Connor Jenkins serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Cannon Jenkins and Koleton Fondren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the North Ocoee Street Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services who is in charge of the arrangements.
