Joan Norman Reardon
Joan Norman Reardon, 83, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023.
A native of Lynchburg, Tennessee, she was formerly the head nurse in the nursery at Memorial Hospital and later was an registered nurse with Children’s Diagnostic Center and was a member of OLPH Catholic Church.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Lawson Wilson and Clara Parks Norman.
She is survived by her loving husband, Lester “Les” Daniel Reardon Jr.; three daughters, Brigid (Patrick Murphy) Reardon of Orlando., Ginny Reardon of Chattanooga, and Holly (Jim) Sells of Chattanooga; two sons, Danny Reardon of Chattanooga, and Michael (Leslie) Reardon of Cleveland, Tn.; sister, Kathy (Stanley) Baker of Lynchburg, Tn..; brother, Parks (Debbie) Norman of Lynchburg, Tn.; three grandchildren, Ian Reardon, Jacob Reardon and Dan Sells; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, at OLPH Catholic Church with Father Mike Creson officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers if you would like to make a donation in honor of Joan, the family request donations be made to Children’s Hospital.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on. Wednesday, Sept. 27, at the funeral home.
