Barbara Burnette Dye was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on February 21, 1941.

She graduated Tyner High School in 1959. Barbara worked for Whirlpool Corporation until her retirement. She attended Ridgedale Baptist Church and enjoyed working with the flower and music ministry.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Frank Kenneth Dye. She is survived by one brother and three sisters; her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Tommy Taylor; her two grandsons and their wives, Will and Bonnie and Josh and India; and her two great-grandsons, Liam and Levi.

Barbara went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Sept. 23, at the age of 82.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 10-11 a.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson.

The funeral service will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens Chapel of Devotion at 11 a.m. with Reverend Michael Johnson officiating. Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
