Hugh Thomas Morse
Hugh Thomas Morse, 31, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 26.
He was born in South Bend, In., and spent most of his life on Signal Mountain.
Taken too early, Hugh was the light of his family’s eye and was loved by all who came in contact with him. He was fiercely loved, and he reflected that love to all who met him. A lifelong fighter with challenges, Hugh was valiant, brave and courageous. He attended Orange Grove where he enjoyed being with his teachers and friends each day.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Hugh Pierce Garner and paternal grandmother, Lynne Morse.
He is survived by his loving mother, Paige, friend, John Woodworth; sister, Marie Morse (Lauren) nephews, Davis and Alastair, maternal grandmother, Marilyn Garner, paternal grandfather, Charles Morse (Sandy) an uncle, Griffith Garner (Sarah) and cousins, Jekka Garner and Margaret Erpenbeck (Brayden) Carter and Sophia.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Oct. 6, at 1 p.m. EDT at Pine Grove Cemetery, 199 Pleasant Grove Road, Jasper, Tn. 37343.
