Felix G. Russell, Jr.
Felix G. Russell, Jr., 92, of Harrison, Tennessee, went to be with his heavenly Father on Friday, September 29, 2023.
Felix was a simple man and although he did not talk about much, he served in the United States Marines where he was the recipient of the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Korean Service Medal. Once he was discharged, he soon after started a family with the love of his life Betty and raised three daughters. He loved being outdoors, boating and traveling the country after he retired from South Central Bell, now AT&T after 36 years.
Felix is survived by his wife of 70 years, Betty, three daughters, Connie Adams, Candy Russell (Kelly), Cathy Bankston (Jim), three grandsons, Scotty Adams (Hope), Josh Bankston, Kevin Bankston (Sara) and four great-grandchildren.
The family will have a private graveside service at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
