Angie Seals
Angie Elizabeth Seals departed this life to enter Heaven on January 13th, 2024.
She was a true Daltonian, as she was born at the local hospital in 1972, and she lived in the area throughout her life, making it impossible to go anywhere without knowing nearly everyone.
Angie was known as someone with a youthful spirit of wavering interests, but she had a true love for art and literature that she was excited to pass on to her daughter and grandchildren. She was also known to be a very proud southerner with enough “Georgia” clothes and accessories to fill a travel gift shop. Through years of memories, Angie will be most-remembered as a loving person who doted on her family and cared for her friends.
Angie is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Seals, as well as her grandmother and sister, Myrtle Ledford and Kathy Ford. She is survived by her mother, Unev Johnson, as well as her daughter and grandchildren, Tiffany, Clara and Grady Gravitt. She is also survived by her loving companion, Chris Wynn, who stayed by her side relentlessly during her hospitalization, and she will be missed by several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 20 at 1 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Johnny West officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Arrangements by Ponders Melrose Chapel, 138 Melrose Drive, Dalton, Ga., 30721, 706.226.4002 www.selectedindependentfuneralhomes.org and www.ogr.org.
