Mable Pearl Evans Lindsey
Mable Pearl Evans Lindsey, 91, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 15, 2024.
She was born in Chattanooga, on Feb. 6, 1932, to the late Charlie George Dewey Evans and Essie Lee Gladson Evans. Mable worked well over 40 years in the nursing profession as a CNA in the field of patient care. She was a wonderful cook, loved country music and was quite a poet. Mable was of the Baptist faith. She will be greatly missed by her family and her friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Frank Lindsey and their beloved son, Kenny Guy Lindsey.
Survivors include her daughter, Shelia Browning Walker; son, Larry (Shauna) Lindsey; daughter, Rhonda (Herb) Rice; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters; one brother; many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, at the funeral home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 21, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Grady Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Ooltewah Cemetery.
