Kenneth "Kenny" Edward Dixon, 66, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on October 9, 2024.

He was born on Oct. 10, 1957, in Chattanooga, to the late Robert Lee Dixon and Sarah "Betsy" Elizabeth Tanner. He spent most of his life in North Carolina and the Chattanooga area.

Kenny graduated from Red Bank High School in 1976. He joined the Army and was a paratrooper in the Core of Engineers and earned the rank of Captain. After the Army, he began a life of home renovations and rural homesteading near Salisbury, NC. He could fix anything!

He was a wonderful, son, brother, father, and friend. He is survived by his daughter, Emily Ramos; mother, Betsy Tanner; brother, Bob Dixon; sister, Beth Dixon; many loving family members, and nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Oct. 18, at 1 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be held at his home on Oct. 18, at 5 p.m. at 3152 Waterfront Dr., Chattanooga, Tn. 37419. Family and friends are welcome!
