Help The Campaign To Place A Wreath At Every National Cemetery Grave

  • Saturday, October 26, 2024
This letter is about something that everyone in the Chattanooga area should know about.

My friend, Darlene Brown of Real Estate Partners, kicked off an annual fundraiser in July. It’s called Wreaths Across Chattanooga. The goal is to place a wreath on every grave at our beautiful National Cemetery in December. Each wreath costs $10. The wreaths are placed on the graves by volunteers.

In order to place a wreath on every grave, the fundraiser needs to raise $50,000.
Right now, it has brought in $25,000. More contributors are needed.

I lived in Chattanooga for 45 years before I retired and left to travel. Many of my friends and former neighbors there have loved ones and friends resting eternally at the National Cemetery. Please consider contributing what you can to make sure each and every grave has a wreath this year.

It’s easy to help: make out your check to Wreaths Across Chattanooga and mail it to Darlene Brown at 525 West Main St., Chattanooga, TN 37402 or send a private iMessage to Darlene Brown for Venmo instructions or to arrange for her to pick up your contribution in person. If you have friends/loved ones in the National Cemetery, let Darlene know when you contribute.

Thanks for your consideration.
