Bradley Medical Center, a hospital cornerstone serving the Ocoee region in Southeast Tennessee, kicks off the holidays by inviting the community to its inaugural Christmas Lights & Ribbon Cutting Event taking place from 5:15-7:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 2305 Chambliss Ave. N.W., Cleveland. The evening combines seasonal, family-friendly festivities with the opportunity to learn more about the new era of Bradley Medical Center.
“The associates of Bradley Medical Center are privileged to serve the residents of Bradley County and the surrounding area,” said Lisa Lovelace, president and CEO of Bradley Medical Center, “and this Christmas Lights event is our gift to them.
We are celebrating the spirit of the season and our new-yet-traditional beginning.”
The evening begins with the sound of the holidays ringing through the air as both the Blackfox Singers and Hopewell Singers take turns performing on stage. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand as guests enjoy light refreshments.
Visitors are invited into the hospital for a special tour of trees, with each tree being individually decorated by Bradley Medical Center’s departments.
Mix 104.1 radio personality, Steve Hartline, will emcee the evening featuring an array of speakers including Lovelace and Jeff Myers, President and CEO of Vitruvian Health. Other speakers include Bradley County Mayor Gary Davis; Cleveland City Mayor Kevin Brooks; Pastor Allan Lovelace; Mike Griffin, President and CEO of The Cleveland-Bradley Chamber of Commerce; and Cleveland businessman Allan Jones, who was the first baby born at Bradley. While Jones’ mother was the first to give birth at the hospital, his wife was the first mother to have a baby in the Bradley Women’s Center that was built due to his generous support.
“We are looking forward to kicking off the holiday season with the community,“ Ms. Lovelace said.
