Hilda Bayer
Hilda Jane Brooks Bayer, 86, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024.
Hilda was a 1956 graduate of City High School in Chattanooga and attended St. Thadeus Episcopal and Anglian Church of the Redeemed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thack Brooks; mother, Mary Chun Holiday; and two sons, Anthony “Tony” Bayer and Andy Bayer.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Bayer; daughter, Jane (Randy) Walker; four grandchildren, Ciera Remziye (Ian) Gillis, Jacob Yavuz (Ping) Walker, Aliya Bayer and Hannah Bayer (Dakota) Draper; and three great-grandchildren, Wesley Gillis, Riley Gillis, and Vasia Walker.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, at Anglican Church of the Redeemer, 104 McBrien Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
Family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM.
