Thanks to unused bond funds, the Department of Public Works paving team has been at work improving city streets.
Hickory Valley/Claude Ramsey Completed
On Nov. 25, the paving on Hickory Valley and Claude Ramsey roads was completed. Over 3,750 tons of asphalt were installed, creating a smoother and more durable roadway. In a sustainable twist, millings from this project were repurposed to address potholes and shoulder repairs along Airport Road.
